Good things are happening in Iowa with the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) -

- We are in the process of moving our state tournament from a 4-class, 8 teams per class, 6-day event to a five-day event. This has been well received. 
- We have re-formatted our more routine awards and certificates – they are now accessible on-line, which is saving much time, mailing and office costs.
- Our membership in total numbers is holding steady in the 2500 range. What is even more exciting is that we are getting 95% plus of our schools to join as members
- Our webpage has been reworked and has been made much more user friendly 
- The “Coaches Corner” feature on our webpage is now open to anyone who visits our website: 30-plus categories of basketball materials and 300-plus entries
